Alton Towers Resort approached Brave New Beast with a thrilling brief: launch their brand new ride, Toxicator, with an online video campaign that would generate buzz, fuel curiosity, and draw visitors to the park. The challenge was to create something more than just a ride promo! We needed to tell a story that matched the intensity of the new attraction and cement it in Forbidden Valley’s lore (Nemesis Reborn).
Brave New Beast conceptualised and produced a cinematic, narrative-driven video advert that teased the ride’s dystopian theme and backstory. Drawing inspiration from sci-fi thrillers and continuing Nemesis Reborn’s storyline, this also needed to appeal to the everyday guest who didn’t fully know the lore.
Over 1.5 million views across YouTube and social platforms.
The Toxicator campaign proved that story-first content can drive powerful engagement. Brave New Beast helped Alton Towers Resort not only launch a ride but continue to build a universe and thrill audiences before they ever set foot in the queue.
